好消息的新表达方式：突破传统，创新表达！

我们很习惯说a piece of good news,真的就只能这样说吗？其实，a good piece of news也可以是表达：一条好消息，piece类似的表达很多:

She wrote something on a small⁣ piece of paper.

她在一小片纸上写了点什么。

This new piece of evidence inva⁣lidates his version of events.

这条新证据推翻了他对事件经过的说法。

It is a technically demanding piece of music to play.

演奏这一段音乐需要有很高的技艺。

The review is a brilliant piece of writing.

这篇评论很精彩。

The article was an excellent piece of investigative journalism.

这是一篇优秀的调查研究报道。

The statue was carved out of a single piece of stone.

item,用法和piece都有类似用法，只是Item一般不与具体名词连用：

Leather jeans are the must-have fashion item of the season.
